What stays on your Mac

Avi stores Watching, mascot visibility, introduction completion and analytics preferences locally in its app preferences. It has no user account, cloud synchronization or retained user records. Its selected downloaded Aerial video plays locally.

Input and permissions

Avi requires macOS pointer and input-event access to detect supported hot corners, move the pointer during playback and dismiss its overlays when you return. It handles transient input events; it does not retain typed text, pointer history or screen content. It reads existing screen-saver, hot-corner and display-power settings without rewriting them.

Diagnostics

The Activity Log holds up to 300 timestamped runtime events in memory during the current app run. These include input types, monitoring, overlay, sleep and lock transitions, without typed values or pointer positions. You can copy or clear the log. Avi does not upload it automatically, and quitting clears the in-memory log.

Analytics and other services

The current build includes the TelemetryDeck analytics SDK, but its Avi app identifier is not configured and no analytics events are sent. Analytics is opt-in. Any future activation will require an updated policy reflecting the actual collection. Avi does not use AI services or include a crash-upload SDK.

Removal and contact

You can turn Watching off, unregister Run Avi at login, and revoke Avi’s permission in System Settings. Removing the app does not necessarily remove its saved macOS preferences. For help resetting preferences or questions about privacy, contact support@simtelligence.com.
